Benchmarking tempts organisations to chase rank. BenchArc begins with an exclusions list: subsidiaries with different labour rules, teams mid-migration, or data known to be patchy.

When comparable units fall below twelve, we switch to qualitative pattern notes. The deliverable still helps, but we strip numeric bands to avoid implying precision.

Every refresh appends assumptions so auditors—and future you—can reconstruct why a line moved. That discipline is the product.
